2. General

This website is an information and waitlist page for upcoming MONTCOURT products. We do not use cookies on this website and do not embed any analytics or advertising services. Fonts are served locally from our own server; no connection to Google servers is established.

3. Hosting (Netlify)

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the website, Netlify processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time of access, pages visited, and browser and operating system information (server logs). This processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably). Netlify is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; a data processing agreement is in place. More information: netlify.com/privacy.

4. Waitlist (Waitlister)

When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. Signup uses a double-opt-in process: you receive an email with a confirmation link, and only after confirming are you added to the waitlist.

The purpose of this processing is to inform you about the product launch and to manage your position on the waitlist. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time — via the unsubscribe link in every email or by contacting the email address above. After withdrawal, your data is deleted from the waitlist.

We use the service Waitlister (waitlister.me) as a processor to operate the waitlist and send emails. Emails are delivered via the Amazon Web Services sending infrastructure (Amazon SES). Personal data may be transferred to the USA in this context; the providers rely on recognized transfer mechanisms (including EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). Our emails may collect open and click statistics to improve delivery and the relevance of our messages.

5. Referral program

After signing up you receive a personal referral link. If other people sign up through your link, points are credited to your waitlist account, which can improve your position. For this purpose we process the association between your referral code and the signups made through it, as well as your points balance. The legal basis is your consent given when joining the waitlist (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Participation in the referral program is voluntary; you are not required to share your link.

6. Storage period

Your data is stored for the duration of the waitlist and deleted when you unsubscribe, withdraw your consent, or the waitlist is discontinued — unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.

7. Your rights

Regarding your personal data, you have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR) — for our registered seat in Hesse, Germany: The Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).

8. Data security

This website uses TLS encryption (https). Data you submit via the signup form is protected in transit.
